PrWhile every project we undertake is special to us, there are a few select ones that are a little more exciting and a little more memorable! This is especially because these projects entail customisation across every inch of a car’s interior. And it was no different for us, to work on the popular three-door hatch – the MINI Cooper. Yet another demanding project, much like the Project Supra, it involved a complete transformation of the interior to full black. As you can see, the front seats inside the MINI Cooper have been reupholstered with a combination of Alcantara and Nappa Leather seat covers, in sharp black. The new seat covers are embellished with stitching in British racing green threads, matching the colour of the hatchback’s exterior. What’s more? We’ve machine-embroidered the official logo of the British automotive marque, on the headrests. The official Cooper S logo, too, has been adorned on one of the side bolsters of each seat. You can also see the center armrest, which we’ve wrapped in Black Alcantara along with British racing green stitching. The side pillars have been reupholstered in Black Nappa Leather, again with the same stitching. And finally, we have the roof which has been redone in full black. So, what is it that you take from this transformation that you can see? We see a very customised vision for the hatchback’s interior, brought to life. It is implausible to manifest something like this for real, unless you have a vision or an idea going from the very get-go. A crucial facet of the vision behind this transformation, is what we always say – let go of the boring and conventional, and choose customisation that speaks your language, and your design. It is, after all, YOUR car.
